Letter from the Board President
What a different year it has been. We have had to process many changes impacting our daily lives:
• Working remotely at home
• Wearing masks
• Pods (social bubbles)
• School at home
• Business impacts
• Virtual meetings
• Social distancing
• and many, many other items
I have seen more walkers, runners, and bicyclists in the area this past summer. I sense more home improvements have taken place around our homes, many due to time at home provided by the pandemic. The community is looking good. Our members take pride in their homes and community. As you may be aware the board rewards "Yard of the Month" winners once each month in the summer. With so many nice yards, selections were difficult.
Property Change Requests are among the most important duties we provide as a HOA board. If you are considering any changes to the outside appearance of your home (both front yard and back yard), please notify the board about your plans. If you are unsure whether or not you need to submit a Property Change Request, please contact us.
The Nottingham Downs Annual Meeting is on Friday, November 6 at 7:00 pm. Due to the pandemic this year, it is an online virtual annual meeting. Meeting details (link to online Zoom meeting and phone number) are provided in the Dues Notice mailed to you in October.
We encourage all of you to provide comments and feedback to the ND Board members. We also would like nominations for board members (a volunteer position). It is a wonderful way to get involved in the community. Click here to nominate and submit feedback.
